Epic Games Account Stolen and Recovery Code Redirected to Hacker's Email
On May 24, 2026, at around 3:08 AM, I realized my Epic Games account had been stolen. The email address linked to my account was a*************@gmail.com. After my account was compromised, the secondary recovery account was changed to a different email address — meaning verification codes are now being sent to the hacker's account rather than mine. As a result, I have no way of accessing my account at all.
I had previously purchased GTA V through this account, which serves as important proof that the account belongs to me. Despite reaching out to Epic Games support, no solution has been provided and my account remains in someone else's hands.
I am requesting that Epic Games conduct the necessary security verification, return my account to me, and restore my access as urgently as possible.
