Enuygun Retains Over Half of Ticket Price for Cancellation Within Two Hours
Through the Enuygun app, I purchased a domestic flight ticket under PNR code 4MQ5PM for a return flight from Antalya on October 12 at 3:40 PM, paying an amount exceeding $104. Less than two hours after the purchase, when I attempted to cancel the ticket through the app, I was informed that only approximately $44 would be refunded to me, with the remaining approximately $62 being withheld under the guise of service fees and penalties.
Given how little time had passed since purchasing the ticket, I demand a clear and detailed written breakdown specifying which items, rates, and conditions justify this deduction of approximately $62, which amounts to more than half of the total fare. I also request that these deduction items be displayed transparently and clearly within the app during the cancellation and refund steps so that passengers can explicitly see them beforehand.
Had 24 hours or more passed since the purchase, I could understand the application of specific cancellation terms and penalties. However, for a cancellation requested in less than two hours, I do not find such a steep deduction to be fair or reasonable under consumer rights. I believe this constitutes an excessively harsh deduction practice to the detriment of the consumer.
I demand that my grievance be resolved, that the applied deduction be re-evaluated fairly, and that the maximum possible amount of the total fee paid be refunded to me. Otherwise, I would like to state that I will exercise my legal rights as a consumer.
