Enterprise Zurich Airport Wrongfully Charged Me $402 for a Broken Car Key

I rented a car through Online Carjet from Enterprise at Zurich Airport. I picked up the vehicle on June 3, 2025, and returned it on June 11, 2025. I returned the car in a clean condition with no issues at all.
However, after returning the vehicle, I received an email from Enterprise claiming that the car key was broken and damaged, and they charged my credit card 320 CHF (about $402 USD). This claim is completely false. I handed the key back to the Enterprise employee in the exact same condition as it was given to me at pickup. If the key was already damaged, it was either caused by previous renters or because Enterprise staff failed to check it properly before handing it to me.
I did not cause any damage to the car key. Enterprise is making a mistake and has wrongfully taken $402 from my credit card. I have already emailed Enterprise, but their only response was that the key was broken and therefore no refund would be given.
Additionally, when booking through Carjet, I had purchased full insurance coverage. Despite this, when I contacted Carjet with my reservation numbers (1378350809 / cjt-175133649), they told me they couldn’t find my booking and advised me to contact Enterprise directly. Carjet did not provide adequate support or assistance.
I am attaching photos from the day I picked up and returned the car, showing the condition. I request a full investigation and the immediate refund of the $402 wrongly charged to my card.
