Beko Dishwasher Broke, So We Had to Hit the Road

I bought an Electrolux dishwasher with a 4-year extended warranty in 2016. The machine recently displayed an i50 error and stopped working. On September 16, 2023, I reported the problem to Electrolux customer service at 08502503589 and filed a service request. I made it clear that my warranty would end on September 22, 2023. The customer service representative assured me that the date I called would be taken into account for the warranty and that the relevant service would contact me within two business days. With no response after four days, I called customer service again, expressing my frustration and the inconvenience I was experiencing. They gave me the technical service contact information and explained that they only dispatched technicians based on customer demand, so I'd have to wait until the following Friday for an update. However, I was severely inconvenienced during these seven days. We had to handwash all of our dishes because no one from the service or customer service contacted us. The technician also failed to appear for repairs. So, on September 22, I called customer service again to let them know that no one had contacted me and that my warranty had expired. I explained that I hadn't been able to use the machine for seven days and that this was causing us a lot of trouble. My family consists of a married couple with a small child, and being unable to use the dishwasher put us in a difficult situation. We had confidence in Electrolux because we had purchased multiple products from them, particularly because we had extended the warranty. However, such a delay was unanticipated. While I understand waiting for a service appointment, expecting customers to wait for weeks if there is no other demand is unreasonable. We could have had a local repairman fix it for less money and in less time. We chose the authorized service, but it appears that we are being punished for it. Electrolux is a reputable company, and I'm requesting that our problem be resolved as soon as possible.

Today, I was called by the Elektro Lüks company. They had spoken with the relevant service. They informed me that they will come for the repair tomorrow, which is Friday. However, it has been 14 days since I created the fault report. During this period, we were only contacted recently, and for 14 days we washed all our dishes by hand and were inconvenienced. The person who called conveyed the company's apologies. I absolutely do not accept the apology. I conveyed these issues to the authorized person of a company that inconveniences its customers and stated that I will never buy or recommend any products from Elektro Lüks again, and those who are considering buying should think twice about the warranty and repair process. I will also write about the process after the service repair.

Today, December 20th, it has been 95 days since the malfunction report was made. Despite calling the Electrolux company multiple times, they only responded once as I mentioned here. Today, I called both Atlas technical service and the Electrolux company at the phone numbers 08502503589 and 02322767978. Since the part has not arrived yet and we no longer believe that the dishwasher will be repaired, I will request the replacement of the dishwasher with a non-defective equivalent based on the consumer protection law number 6502.
