I just bought the Ecovacs Deebot N20 Pro robot vacuum from MediaMarkt yesterday, and I’m already seeing serious issues with its performance. While it works well on carpets, it completely fails to clean edges, corners, and along the baseboards—which are some of the dirtiest parts of the house and the main reason I bought a robot vacuum.
What’s even more frustrating is that during the initial mapping, the robot skips over certain areas entirely. It doesn’t even attempt to enter those spaces before marking them as mapped. As a result, it misses key parts of my home in every cleaning cycle, and there’s no way to force it to correct the map properly.
This is extremely disappointing for a brand-new device. I expected intelligent navigation, not a robot that ignores half the room and leaves dirt in the corners.
