All Dyson upright vacuums have a design flaw with the wheels next to the motor head. These wheels break every 6 to 12 months, making the vacuum unusable. I purchased a Dyson V15 upright vacuum in July 2023, and unfortunately, the wheels broke in June 2024. Customer service immediately replaced them. However, within less than 6 months, one of the wheels broke again, and now they are not offering a replacement. They told me I need to wait one year after the replacement before I can get a free exchange. Apparently, this is due to an issue on their end, and I have to wait for 6 months! Alternatively, I could purchase the part myself. After 6 months, they would be able to offer a free replacement. I currently have two broken wheels and one working replacement head that I need to buy, but they say the 4th head won't be available until July 2025. Right now, I can't use my vacuum, and Dyson doesn’t seem to care. If I buy a new head and it breaks again, I will have to buy another one, or I’ll have to throw the vacuum away!
