Dyson V15 Tube and Head Connection Loose After Only Two Weeks of Use

On September 16, 2025, I purchased a Dyson V15 vacuum cleaner from Dyson’s official website. From the very first use, I noticed that there was excessive looseness between the tube and the cleaning head. The product is only two weeks old, and experiencing such an issue so soon has been very disappointing. When I examined display models at a Dyson stand in a shopping mall, I saw that they did not wobble like mine and appeared to be much sturdier.

When I contacted Dyson customer service via WhatsApp, I was told that the looseness was intentional by design. However, since the display models didn’t have the same issue and I’m concerned that the plastic connection might break over time, I wasn’t satisfied with that explanation. The representative offered to create a service request, but I don’t think it’s reasonable for a two-week-old product to need servicing right away.

I purchased this vacuum directly from Dyson’s official website, and it comes with a two-year warranty. I paid a high price, trusting the brand’s quality, but this experience has left me deeply disappointed. I request a replacement for my Dyson V15 and expect a proper resolution for this issue.

There has been no progress or response regarding the issue. If you encounter a problem in the future, this is what you can expect. There's no need to pay so much money and end up disappointed. We experienced it, you don't have to :)

Dyson just called back and checked. They said this wobbling is 'normal.' I told them that the display products don’t wobble this much (I specifically checked today). I’m noting here that I think the issue is not with the tube, but directly at the end of the main body, and this problem will only get worse. If you have an issue with this brand, they will call you on the phone and leave you hanging without taking any action. You can get much better service for a lower price. Some of the representatives who call are polite and courteous; others don’t really engage with you. Result: My problem was not solved 👎
