I have been using the Dyson V15, and within the first year, I experienced an issue where the power button became unresponsive, causing the vacuum to stop 2-3 seconds after pressing it. Dyson replaced the main motor part under warranty, which temporarily solved the issue. However, as soon as the warranty expired in February, the exact same problem returned in March.
When I contacted customer support, I was told that since the warranty had expired, I would have to pay for repairs. This is incredibly frustrating because the same defective part failed again, yet Dyson refuses to cover it. Considering how much more expensive Dyson vacuums are compared to other brands, I expected a minimum warranty of 4-5 years, not just two years of coverage.
The worst part is that there is no direct repair service or clear communication about what will be fixed or replaced.
