My Dyson V12 vacuum cleaner has been showing a filter cleaning warning for several weeks, even though the filter has just been cleaned. When I called for support, I was told that the filter needed to be replaced. Despite having purchased the product less than a year ago, they claimed the filter has a one-year warranty and would not replace it without a purchase on my part.
They market it as having a lifetime filter, yet all parts are said to be guaranteed for two years. The filter is indeed a part of the machine. I am requesting a free replacement filter due to this ongoing issue. Thank you.
