Dyson V12 Slim Detect Warranty Ignored When Low-Reach Adapter Broke



I don’t understand why Dyson is so famous worldwide. It costs far more than other brands, yet offers no genuine customer service. They’re polite until the purchase, but afterward, they ignore you and your concerns, even if your product is still under warranty. I bought a Dyson V12 Slim Detect in December 2023 from Dyson Türkiye. Just a few months later, the low-reach adapter broke unexpectedly. When I contacted customer service, explaining the issue, they told me to buy a new one—even though my product is under warranty. I was shocked and still can’t understand how Dyson has gained this reputation despite such poor service. Now, at 8 months pregnant, I’m struggling to keep my home clean, which adds to my frustration. Why did I pay $600? To be treated this way, especially as a pregnant woman?

Dyson customer service contacted me on November 4th. They called me via video to see the defective attachment and said they would fix the situation, specifically mentioning that they would urgently send a new attachment due to my pregnancy. I have been waiting for 20 days to make a positive update regarding my complaint. But no attachment has been sent. It seems I was called just to withdraw my complaint. You are not standing by your product under warranty or your customer who is in a difficult situation. I feel like I'm being mocked. It's really a shame.
The new adapter has arrived on 29/11/2024. Thank you.
