I have been using a Dyson V12 cordless stick vacuum cleaner for a long time and, since we also have a robot vacuum at home, the product has not been used very intensively. The serial number of my device is T8G-EU-RGV5814A. On 22.01.2026, I sent the product to the Dyson Service in Istanbul for general cleaning and maintenance. I purchased this product on 12 January 2023 from İzmir İstinye Park AVM. When my spouse opened the dust bin today to use the product, we noticed that the end part of the main motor section was loose and moving. There was no such problem before the cleaning process. It was clearly visible that different types of dust and hair had entered the inside of the loosened part. We then contacted Dyson service and had a video call to show them the problem in detail. During this video call, the authorized service representative explicitly stated that it was not normal for that part to move in this way. Despite this, they claimed that the problem was not caused by them and demanded a repair fee of ₺5,299. The fact that the product was sent to the service without any issues, returned in this faulty condition, and then such a high fee was requested has left us in a very difficult and unfair situation. Due to this fault, I am currently unable to use my product. I kindly request that the condition of my product be reassessed, that this malfunction, which appeared after the service process, be handled within the service scope, and that the necessary repair and maintenance be carried out free of charge.
