Dyson V12 Filter-Related Problems, and Filter Unavailability
About three months ago, I bought a Dyson V12 device. In early February, I got a warning that the filter needed to be cleaned. I cleaned the filter in accordance with the instructions, but the warning persisted as if I hadn't cleaned it. I called Dyson's customer service, and they said they would send me a new filter since the old one was broken. They told me I could keep using the device while this was going on. But after a few more times of using the device, other filter problems started to happen. I contacted customer service again, and they said there was no problem. A few days later, Dyson informed me that they were unable to supply the filters yet. At that point, I informed them again about other issues with the device, and they advised me not to use it. Since then, it's been about a month, and I still can't use my device, and I can't find out when the filters will arrive. According to Dyson customer service, they are waiting for the filters from abroad and do not know when they will arrive. I own two V12 devices, and I have recommended Dyson to others, but this experience has seriously impacted my confidence in the brand.
