Dyson Gen5 Detect Vacuum Lost Power And Peeling After First Use


On November 7, 2025, I purchased a purple Dyson Gen5 Detect vacuum cleaner from the store for 33,999₺. I used the product for the first time on November 11 and was immediately very disappointed. The suction power is very low, the performance is far below expectations, and the device is quite heavy. Moreover, the purple coating began to peel off during the first use. For all these reasons, I am not satisfied with the product at all. When I went to the store to request a return, they said they could not accept it because it had been used and that returns were only possible for purchases made through their official website. Despite testing the vacuum on different sockets and surfaces, the problems persisted. Since I was dissatisfied and encountered so many issues during the first use, I am requesting a refund. I have also filed a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee today. I expect Dyson to stand behind its product, for the authorities to hear my voice, and for my grievance to be resolved.
