I purchased the latest Dyson Gen 5 vacuum cleaner about 6 months ago. Within the first month, the side clips on the carpet head fell off, as shown in the pictures and videos I'll provide. Later, the elbow joint of the under-furniture accessory broke. I placed an order for a replacement on August 8th, but since this product is not manufactured in Turkey, there is no stock of spare parts. So, for customers like me who fell for the good advertising and spent ₺27,000 on this vacuum, it's a tough luck situation. It feels like a classic bait-and-switch tactic.
For such an expensive product, it's quite clever—though frustrating—that no spare parts are available! As for the suction quality of the vacuum, there is definitely no exceptional performance. There's a steel blade inside that supposedly chops debris into fine particles, but all it does is clog the machine and falsely claim to pick up very fine dust. Honestly, even the simplest corded vacuum can do the same job. One difference is that it has a high-power mode that is very strong, but when you use it, the motor overheats, and the battery drains quickly. I avoid using that mode out of fear.
Forget about Dyson sending spare parts or replacing the product; those are all false promises. I will pursue all my legal rights. Consumer rights should protect and take action against such practices.
