Dyson Denied Warranty on My Animal Pro Vacuum Bought Less Than 2 Years Ago
Hello, the head of the Dyson Animal Pro vacuum cleaner I purchased from Emaar Media Markt on February 19, 2023, has broken. When I contacted Media Markt about the issue, they directed me to Dyson's customer service. I called 0850 532 11 44 and opened a case. About a week later, even though I hadn’t owned the device for two years, I was told, "We sold it to the retailer in some year, so it doesn’t fall under warranty." What kind of logic is that? How is it my problem when your company sold it to the retailer? I haven’t even owned it for two years. There is such a thing as Consumer Rights. What does this mean? It’s outrageous. So, what now? Are we supposed to ask for invoices and check "When did you purchase this?" before buying Dyson products? You know how to boast about being a durable, high-quality brand and run flashy advertisements. But when it comes to honoring the warranty, it’s beyond comprehension. What do you mean by "We sold it to the retailer so many years ago"? At 42 years old, I’ve learned something new today.
Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Your satisfaction is very important to us. You can be assured that we will handle the matter with care. Our solution center representative will contact you as soon as possible to provide support. Sincerely, Dyson Turkey
