Around 2:00 AM on the night of December 2–3, 2025, in Karabağlar, İzmir, we used the white condom from a Durex Chill mixed pack we had purchased. After intercourse ended, both my spouse and I noticed an unusual level of wetness. When I checked, I realized that the inside of the condom was completely empty, and the moment I saw that the tip had a hole, we experienced serious shock and panic. My spouse immediately tried to clean herself, but sperm had already come into contact with both of us.
We went through extreme anxiety throughout the night. When morning came, my spouse went to a pharmacy, explained the situation, and was given emergency medication. We paid $20 for this medication. In addition, relying on these products, we had previously purchased Durex condoms worth about $19–$22, and we have now completely lost trust in the other products remaining in the pack we are currently using.
Having a manufacturing-related hole in a product that is this sensitive and directly related to health has physically and psychologically exhausted us. I contacted the brand via email regarding this incident, but I have not received any response so far. I am requesting that the product be taken in for investigation, that the $20 cost of the emergency medication, the cost of the condoms we purchased, and any potential future health-related expenses be fully compensated.
During this process, I also request that the necessary quality control inspections be carried out for your products and that this issue be handled seriously to prevent a similar situation from happening to other users.
