Duolingo Premium Subscription Renewed Without Consent

I was eager to try out the Duolingo Premium app, which offered a two-week free trial. My experience, however, took a disappointing turn when I discovered that the app had charged my credit card for a full 1-year subscription even before the trial period had ended. Despite my efforts to cancel the trial and even delete the app a few days prior, this occurred. The unauthorized charge not only caught me off guard, but also left me disappointed and betrayed. When it comes to subscription services, I want to emphasize the importance of transparency and consent. As a user, I should have the option of continuing with a paid subscription after completing the free trial.
