DoorDash's DashPass $0 Delivery Fee Promise Didn't Happen

Since DoorDash promoted cheaper delivery and waived the delivery fee for DashPass orders, I decided to sign up for the service. Among other benefits, they assured customers a 5% rebate on all pickup orders. $0 delivery fee when I signed up and used the service wasn’t what I saw when trying to place an order, having DashPass didn't prevent me from paying delivery fees on multiple occasions. they were unresponsive and provided nonspecific answers. The advertising from DoorDash was misleading, and the explanations of DashPass's advantages were vague for me, so safe to say I was disappointed. When you shell out cash for a service and it falls short, in more ways than one.
