Dolce & Gabbana Shoes Logo Fell Off After Only 3–4 Wears

In 2024, I purchased a pair of shoes from the Dolce & Gabbana store at Zorlu Center in Istanbul. Despite wearing the shoes no more than three or four times in total, the “&” logo on the sole came off within a very short period of time. Experiencing this kind of problem with a pair of shoes that had been worn so little and was practically new raises serious questions about the product’s manufacturing quality. I do not understand why I should be held responsible for a problem caused by a poorly manufactured product.

As soon as I noticed the problem, I took the shoes to the store, but my complaint was not properly addressed and no solution was offered. Later, after doing my own research, I learned that this type of issue could be considered a manufacturing defect rather than user error, and that my complaint was justified. Despite this, when I submitted the shoes for another inspection, I was informed that they were returned on August 23 with a negative assessment and that my request had been rejected. This approach is completely inconsistent with the level of customer service I would expect from a brand positioned in this market segment.

I request that the inconvenience I have experienced be resolved by either replacing the shoes or issuing a full refund. I believe I am legally entitled to a remedy in this matter, and I request that the process be resolved without further delay or unnecessary difficulty. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
