I Wore Dockers Waterproof Shoes for 6 Days and They Leaked

My brother gifted me a pair of Dockers shoes from a FLO store in Ankara. Since I live in another city, I received the shoes later and didn’t wear them right away. After wearing them for just 5–6 days, I noticed something shocking—the so-called "waterproof" shoes were leaking through the stitching. Even worse, the bending areas of the shoes wore out abnormally fast. I’ve never seen shoes deteriorate this quickly with such light use.
I brought the shoes to a local FLO store. They sent them to Dockers for review, and the response I got was dismissive: “No manufacturing defect found.” I gave them another chance and submitted the shoes again. The exact same response came back—along with a condescending note suggesting I “read the user manual before wearing.”
I’m appalled by how both FLO and Dockers have handled this. I wore the shoes for less than a week, they failed at their core function, and now I’m being treated like I used them incorrectly. I shouldn’t have to fight this hard to be treated fairly. I’m preparing to take this to the Consumer Arbitration Committee, but I wanted to publicly share my experience first so others can be warned.
