Eneba Marketplace Off-Platform Scam and Card Chargeback Action Plan
My complaint is about a seller I dealt with through Eneba regarding the WinOLS 5.7 program. I found the seller’s advert on Facebook, where he claimed to sell a full, lifetime-activated WinOLS 5.7 version for 400 dollars. When I contacted him on WhatsApp, he told me he would reduce the price to 75 dollars and sell me the complete, fully activated program with nothing missing. I clearly explained to him that I already have an account on the official WinOLS site, that I own an old version, and that I also have the new free version. I even sent him screenshots proving this, and I told him I did not need a free copy but a full, paid, lifetime WinOLS 5.7 version as he advertised. He told me to pay only 75 dollars and that he would then do all the installation and activation. I paid him 75 dollars by bank card, but he went back on the agreement and started asking for more money. He first demanded an extra 50 dollars, which I also paid, and then he asked for another 20 dollars for “installation”. I paid that as well, but despite all these payments he did not install anything and did not provide the full WinOLS 5.7 program. Instead, he sent me a free download link from the site, which I already had, and kept asking for more money. When I objected and reminded him of our agreement, he told me to “go look for your money wherever you want”, then blocked me on WhatsApp. Because I was afraid this was a fraud, I even changed my original bank card that I used for the payments. In total I paid him 75 + 50 + 20 dollars and received nothing in return except a free link that I already had, while he had promised a full, lifetime-activated WinOLS 5.7 version. I feel that I have been deceived and financially exploited. I request that Eneba refund all the money I paid and take the necessary action against this seller, especially since I have screenshots and a video as proof of what happened.
