Dell Vostro Laptop Stopped Reading Nvidia Graphics Card Driver
I bought a Dell Vostro laptop on December 4th, 2023, for my office. But, the device was really slow and couldn't open the needed Netsis program. We got the laptop specifically for using Office and Netsis programs. Compared to a brand-new device, it was running really slow. The Dell salesperson at the store said that the problem was caused by missing updates. But, it turns out later that the laptop doesn't recognize the Nvidia graphics card and can't read the driver.
I was told to contact customer service, and they said they can only take the product back if it's still in the original packaging. The next day, I brought back the laptop in its original box. But they couldn't take it back and told me to call Dell customer service instead. After talking to Dell customer service, we fixed the problems with the graphics card and driver by connecting remotely. They said the device was fine, so they wouldn't accept a return.
It's really disappointing to see that the product they were so convinced about and promised to support with a warranty during the sale is not getting the support it needs now. It's really unfortunate that Vatan and Dell think our money can be wasted so easily.
