My Dell Vostro 3400 Became Unusably Slow in Under 4 Years Despite Light Use

I purchased a Dell Vostro 3400 in 2021, and it hasn’t even been 4 full years yet—but the performance has become unbearably slow. This morning, I pressed the power button at 9:45 AM, and I wasn’t able to access the internet until 12:00 PM. That’s over two hours just to get the system running.
I only use this laptop for very basic tasks—internet browsing, Microsoft Word, PDF viewing, and sometimes YouTube. I don’t install games or run heavy software, yet the device has slowed to a crawl. I don’t understand how a machine from a respected brand like Dell can degrade so quickly with such minimal use.
The warranty has already expired, and I now regret buying it. A laptop that can’t even handle light office work in under four years is unacceptable. Dell, I expected better.
I’m calling on Dell to offer support or a performance-related solution for customers who trusted your brand and are now stuck with sluggish machines. You should stand by your products even after the warranty ends—especially when the issue is not due to misuse but poor performance over time.
