I Got Charged for a Year of DeepL Translator Pro After Free Trial Ended Without Warning

I signed up to try DeepL Translator Pro with the advertised 1-month free trial, thinking I could evaluate the service before committing. To activate the trial, I entered my credit card details. Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel it before the trial ended, and DeepL immediately charged me for a full year—without any warning, reminder, or confirmation prompt. This charge was taken from my card without my explicit approval, and I only noticed it after checking my statement.
I canceled my subscription the moment I saw the charge and now I’m demanding a full refund. This kind of practice feels misleading and unethical. At the very least, a notification should have been sent before such a large amount was charged.
To make matters worse, there’s no customer support phone number listed on the website or in the app, which makes it extremely difficult to get help. I’ve attached the invoice and urgently request someone from DeepL support to contact me and issue a refund. This is not how you build trust with paying users. Fix this now.
