Decathlon Self-Checkout System Causes Issues – More Staffed Counters Needed for Support

I recently made a ₺10,000 purchase at Decathlon, and during the self-checkout process, I was automatically redirected to an ad, which led to me unintentionally signing up for a game. While the self-checkout system might work well for some, it’s essential to consider those who struggle with it. My 63-year-old mother, for example, wants to shop on her own but can’t because of the system. There should be at least two staffed counters available at all times.

From what I’ve observed, many customers are having trouble with the self-checkout, and one employee simply isn’t enough to assist everyone. This system should be making things easier, not more difficult. I’m confident that Decathlon, as a reputable company, will address this issue and implement changes to improve the shopping experience. I look forward to seeing a positive resolution.
