On November 16, 2024, I bought basketball shoes for my child from the Decathlon store in Bursa. I later saw the same product online for ₺100 less. I don’t understand why I paid ₺100 more in the store. I am requesting a correction and a refund of the price difference. Why is there a price difference when buying from the store? I find it hard to believe this happens in a company like Decathlon. Do I need to return the product via courier and order it online instead? Please address this issue fairly.
The response I received:
"Hello Sports Enthusiast,
At certain times, our products go on end-of-line discounts, and we cannot predict additional discounts or price changes. As Decathlon Turkey, we work passionately every day to make sports accessible and create sustainable value in our country. We strive to improve all our processes and services, from production to logistics and from our warehouses to our stores, ensuring that our prices remain accessible. Best regards, stay healthy and active!"
I understand your message, but that’s not the point I’m trying to make. This is why I usually choose Decathlon, but this time I experienced an issue due to the price difference between the website and the store. I am asking for your contribution to solving this issue. Please do not provide a copy-paste response. I would be happy if you could take the necessary steps and offer a fair solution. Having such a discrepancy on the same day is, in my opinion, not in line with ethical business practices. Please assist me.
