Daikin Left Me Without Heating or Hot Water for a Week During Winter
On Friday, December 20, our boiler malfunctioned, tripping the circuit breaker and emitting a burning smell, leaving it unusable. We reported the issue to Daikin’s authorized service the next morning, and the team finally arrived late that evening, diagnosing the problem as a burned-out fan, which wasn’t covered under warranty despite the boiler being brand new and in use for less than a month. They charged ₺5,300 for the replacement and said the repair would be delayed until Monday, or possibly Wednesday, due to stock availability. However, a week has passed with no updates, despite daily calls to Daikin’s authorized service and Todek Ankara, both of which redirect us to each other without providing any resolution. We are now in the middle of winter without heating or hot water, enduring freezing conditions for an entire week. As students, we’ve fallen ill due to the cold, and the lack of customer service or urgency is unacceptable. We demand an immediate resolution to this issue.
