Urgent Complaint Regarding Daikin Products and Service
The unresolved problems with Daikin-branded combi boilers sold in Turkey are increasing dramatically. Despite the products being under warranty, customers are being asked to pay excessively high service fees. Are you aware that, instead of the reliability and quality we are used to expecting from Japanese companies, Daikin products in Turkey constantly experience issues, and customer service fails to stand behind the products? On Turkey’s largest complaint platform, Daikin’s customer satisfaction rate is only 31%. Do you have such a terrible rating anywhere else in the world? As for my personal case, I was sold a combi boiler with a 6-year warranty, with no requirement for mandatory maintenance. However, when my product experienced issues, I was told that maintenance was recommended and was asked to pay $125 for a simple heat exchanger cleaning. This fee is one-fifth of the cost of a brand-new, reliable combi boiler from another brand in Turkey. This is nothing short of extortion. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that the issue will even be resolved after paying this amount. When I contacted your call center, they stated that heat exchanger cleaning and maintenance fees are not covered by the warranty. However, I was clearly told at the time of purchase that the product comes with a 6-year warranty without any mandatory maintenance requirements. The only response I receive is: "We recommend regular maintenance." Yet, even if I had paid for regular maintenance, heat exchanger cleaning is still excluded, meaning I would have been charged regardless. This heat exchanger issue is not caused by user error. I will make sure to expose the true face of your products and customer service across all platforms in Turkey. I will never purchase a Daikin product again.
