Dacia Ignored the Grinding Sound in My 2023 Duster Despite Warranty
My car is a 2023 model Dacia Duster with only 5,000 km on it. On April 18, 2025, at 1:30 PM, I went to the Iğdır Renault Yıldızlar dealership for a service appointment. However, my car was neither connected to a diagnostic system nor lifted—only taken for a test drive. The technician claimed there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. I specifically mentioned that there was a grinding sound when using half clutch and giving gas in first gear and reverse, but he simply said, “The turbo flaps are opening and closing,” and sent me away. I was not satisfied at all. I have now recorded videos clearly showing the noise. Although my car is under warranty, this unresolved issue has made me lose confidence in the vehicle.
