Corendon Airlines seems to follow the motto "We'll fly you where we want, not where you want." On April 9th, I booked a flight for four to Munich, intending to return on April 12th. I arranged my hotel in Munich, paid for it, and even rented a car from the airport. In December, I received an email stating, "Your flight to Munich is canceled. We've put the ticket on hold." I immediately contacted customer service, requesting a ticket change to another city. However, no tickets were available for a nearby city or on April 9th. I was forced to change the ticket to April 6th. Figuring out how to pick up our car from Munich Airport, where to stay from April 6th to 9th, the financial aspect, and hours of travel became a nightmare. Just a week after the February 22nd email, I received another email: the return ticket was canceled too. Again, I spoke with customer service. The outbound flight was canceled, we were forced to change the ticket, and now the return is canceled. I suggested canceling the entire trip, reimbursing our hotel and car rental expenses, and calling it quits, but it's not that simple. They offer to book another flight or don't, and when I ask, "Where should we return?" they suggest cities, but none for April 12th, only for April 13-19. Why should I extend my three-day vacation to seven days from April 6th to 13th due to Corendon's actions? The plan has turned into an expensive ordeal with additional hotel and meal expenses, tripling our budget. Early booking offers are gone, and places that used to cost ₺2000 now demand ₺5000-6000. In short, Corendon should embrace the slogan "We'll fly you where we want, not where you want." Or perhaps, "Time and place don't matter, book a ticket to experience the flight. We'll fly when it suits us."
