I Face Extra Costs After Missing Corendon Airlines Flight QB8EPL Due to Lack of Notification
On September 1, 2025, we were scheduled to fly with Corendon Airlines on flight code QB8EPL. Since the flight was late at night, we misunderstood the date and arrived at Çukurova Airport on September 2 instead. As a result, we missed the flight.
What made the situation worse was the complete lack of communication from the airline. We did not receive any SMS or email notification before the flight. When we arrived at the airport, there were also no Corendon representatives available to assist us.
Because of this, we were forced to purchase tickets with SunExpress for a flight departing just two hours later. This unexpected change cost us around ₺50,000 extra, which we had to pay by credit card.
We contacted Corendon Airlines customer service, but the response was negative, and no compensation or refund was provided. We understand that our ticket was not covered by insurance or a guarantee program, but the lack of proper pre-flight communication directly caused this issue.
We are requesting a refund of the amount we paid, as well as compensation for the stress and inconvenience caused. Corendon Airlines must take responsibility for the communication failure that led to this serious financial and emotional burden.
