Corendon Charged Extra at Check-In Without Informing About Online Check-In Requirement

I purchased an international flight ticket from Corendon Airlines, and when I arrived at the counter to check in, I was shocked to be told I had to pay an additional €10 per person just because I hadn’t completed online check-in.
At no point was I informed—via email, SMS, or during the booking process—that online check-in was mandatory or that skipping it would result in an extra charge. This feels like a hidden fee designed to catch passengers off guard.
How can an airline impose such a requirement without properly notifying customers? I will be filing an official complaint with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Corendon, I expect a full explanation and refund of the unfair check-in charges. If online check-in is compulsory, it must be clearly and repeatedly communicated—not used as a way to generate extra revenue from uninformed travelers.
