Corendon Airlines Reissued My Ticket Over a Name-Surname Error Despite Correct ID Number

On June 24, 2025, I booked tickets for my spouse and me with Corendon Airlines from Izmir to Amsterdam. While my spouse's name and surname were entered correctly, I accidentally typed my first name into both the “first name” and “surname” fields on my ticket. Even though my national ID number was entered correctly and my first name was accurate, Corendon still invalidated my original ticket and issued a new one—causing unexpected trouble and expense.

If the system asks for a national ID number, why doesn’t it verify the information more carefully and prevent such issues at the time of booking? This could easily be avoided with a simple validation step.

Corendon Airlines, I respectfully request that you correct this issue and compensate me for the inconvenience. I shouldn’t be penalized for a formatting error when the correct identity information was provided. Please address this unfair situation promptly.
