Corendon Airlines Bodrum-Hannover Flight: Unprofessional Check-in Experience and Rude Staff

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional and discourteous behavior of the check-in staff for Corendon Airlines' August 22, 18:10 Bodrum-Hannover flight. Despite having completed online check-in for three tickets, including one for my 22-month-old grandchild, we were rudely told, "It's not showing in the system, wait on the side until it's swiped inside!" After already waiting in line for half an hour, we were forced to wait an additional 10 minutes. During this time, the staff completed the check-ins for all other passengers behind us in the queue.

When I questioned why we were still being delayed despite everything being in order, the young attendant, who seemed already overwhelmed and irritable, left the counter in tears. Her replacement was equally dismissive, telling my daughter, "We’re mothers too, so what if you have a baby? You’ll wait until we get system approval!" This response clearly demonstrated the staff's lack of respect and empathy towards passengers.

When we requested to speak with a supervisor, a young Havaş employee arrived angrily, displaying even worse behavior than the previous attendants. It’s disheartening that these young employees, who represent the country’s image, chose to scold passengers in front of numerous foreign travelers instead of acknowledging their mistake and offering a polite apology on behalf of the company. To add to the discomfort, several elderly foreign passengers, who witnessed the incident, later approached us at the passport queue and said in accented Turkish, "You were right." However, this did little to alleviate the frustration of the experience.
