My Columbia Jacket Was Fraying and Brand Refused to Accept It as a Defect
I purchased a Columbia jacket, expecting premium quality. Unfortunately, the cuffs began to fray at the edges, which shouldn’t happen with a product in this price range. I sent the item in for inspection, only to be told that it wasn’t considered a defect.
When I went to the store to collect the jacket, the store manager—who was kind and understanding—offered to send it in for review again personally. But once again, Columbia refused to accept any responsibility for the issue.
I’ve been a loyal customer and paid a premium for a product that did not meet expectations. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has completely eroded my trust in the brand. I won’t be picking the jacket up, and I will never shop with Columbia again.
