My Columbia Firecamp Shoes Deformed in 3 Months—They Refused to Replace Them

I purchased a pair of Columbia BM1905 Firecamp Remesh black shoes from Columbia’s official website on 09.09.2024. Without even completing one full season of wear, the shoes began to deform around the flex points. After just 3 months of light use, the material started breaking down in a way that’s unacceptable for a shoe priced at ₺8,100.
On 11.03.2025, I brought the shoes to the Columbia store at Bursa Marka AVM and requested an inspection. The result? My exchange request was rejected with the excuse that the damage wasn’t due to a production or material defect. How can a shoe that’s barely worn for three months fall apart, and somehow I’m to blame?
I’ve chosen Columbia for years and paid premium prices because I believed in the quality. If I wanted shoes that deteriorate this fast, I would have bought something much cheaper. Columbia, if you’re lowering your product quality, then your prices should reflect that too.
I expect a full replacement or refund. Stop ignoring your loyal customers and start standing behind your products. I didn’t pay this much just to throw my shoes away after a few months.
