In April 2024, I bought a pair of Columbia outdoor shoes, but didn’t start using them until October. After just 2.5 months of light use, the upper part of the shoe developed a hard crease, and the side stitching started to come apart. Not long after, the same issue began on the other shoe as well.

I brought the shoes to the store nearly two months ago, hoping the issue would be resolved. The staff sent them in for inspection, but in February 2025 I received a disappointing response: Columbia claims the damage is not due to manufacturing or material defects. According to them, it’s my fault. That’s simply not true. I’ve barely worn the shoes, and the failure is clearly a result of poor-quality materials.

I chose Columbia and paid a high price because I trusted the brand’s reputation for durability and customer satisfaction. But this experience shattered that belief. As someone who shops with Columbia frequently, I’m extremely disappointed. It's clear even big brands like Columbia resort to small excuses to avoid taking responsibility.
