Columbia Winter Shoes Worn Less Than a Year & Fell Apart – Denied Warranty Claim

I bought a pair of Columbia winter shoes for my wife at the end of last winter season, trusting the brand’s quality. Since they were purchased late in the season, they were barely worn. However, despite minimal use, the inside of the shoes started to deteriorate, showing holes and deformation.
I expected better durability, especially since these shoes haven’t even lasted a full winter. I sent them in for inspection, assuming Columbia would take responsibility for the obvious defect. Instead, they blamed it on "user error" and sent the shoes back, ignoring the clear lack of wear on the exterior.
How could we have caused this kind of damage inside the shoes in such a short time? We paid a premium price expecting long-lasting quality. Columbia, I demand a re-evaluation and a proper resolution—either replace the shoes or refund my money! This is unacceptable!
