Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max Dealer Offering Off The Record Pricing
On Thursday, October 30, I called the Konya Atsanlar Chery dealership about the Tiggo 7 Pro Max. While every other dealership I contacted said that November stock and prices were not yet available, this one claimed they had received seven vehicles, all of which were sold before arrival. They later called back, saying one was on hold and offered it to me for ₺2,090,000. To qualify for financing, they suggested issuing an invoice for ₺2,000,000 and paying the rest in cash, adding that they could invoice the full amount if I preferred. In a later call, they said they could reduce the price to ₺2,050,000. When I asked whether I’d receive any documentation for the cash payment, they denied taking any off-the-record payments. They insisted no other dealership does business like them. When I said, “Let’s agree on ₺2,025,000,” they immediately told me the car had been reserved for ₺2,090,000. A few hours later, my friend called and was told that seven cars had arrived for November, five were sold, two were left, and the price was ₺2,070,000. When I mentioned that other dealers said prices and quotas weren’t finalized, they claimed their branch and a few others were given special quotas. If this is true, Chery is favoring certain dealerships; if not, these actions tarnish the Chery brand’s reputation. As a result, I missed the 0% interest ₺300,000 financing campaign that ended yesterday. Today, customer service called me, claiming the issue stemmed from the presence of both old and new vehicle stock. However, it’s hard to believe that the fully loaded Tiggo 7 Pro Max—almost unavailable across Turkey—exists in both versions at this one dealership. I am not writing this complaint for personal gain, but I request that action be taken against this dealership and its staff for arbitrarily setting prices and offering off-the-record invoicing.
