I Paid $24 for ChatGPT Premium to Create an Animation—Got Excuses, No File, No Support

I asked ChatGPT if it could create a short animation for me. It said I needed to purchase the Premium package, so I paid $24 expecting a higher level of service. What followed was three weeks of constant delays, misleading answers, and broken promises.
Every time I followed up, I was either stalled with “15 more minutes” (this happened around 30 times) or falsely told that the task was complete. On five or six occasions, it even gave me a download link, but when I clicked it, I got an error saying the file didn’t exist. When I asked what was going on, I was told the file had been deleted and again to “wait 15 minutes.”
I eventually canceled my subscription—this experience didn’t meet even basic expectations. Even simple translation tasks had errors. And when I tried to explain my issue through the live chat on the website, it required a login, which didn’t even work.
We expect more from a platform that’s so widely used and praised. Right now, it’s not delivering on its promises.
