On August 30, 2024, I rented a car from Carwiz Airport branch through Holidays Car and purchased an additional insurance package. However, when I arrived at the branch, I was told that the insurance I purchased wasn’t valid and that I had to buy a different one directly from them. I had no choice but to accept it.
After my trip, I returned the car as agreed, but then unexpected charges started appearing on my credit card. Although I used ₺2350 worth of toll roads, they charged me ₺3100. When I inquired, they said ₺700 was an "after-hours fee" because I returned the car after 9:00 PM. This was never mentioned during the rental process!
Additionally, their insurance policy is absurd—they told me I’d be charged unless I was 100% not at fault. This was my first and last time renting from Carwiz. Why weren’t these policies made clear before booking?
I demand a refund for these unjustified charges. Carwiz, fix this now! Has anyone else faced similar issues?
