Carrefour SA Card Activation Codes Raise Concerns About Suspicious Transactions

January 6, 2025 12:42 PM45

To activate Carrefour SA cards, the codes sent to the registered phone number must be approved. However, due to a technical issue at the headquarters, the sent codes cannot be activated. In this situation, individuals claiming to represent Carrefour request that we forward the codes sent to our phones. While the technical issue is somewhat understandable, being repeatedly asked to share these codes raises concerns about potential "suspicious transactions." We are frequently warned by public authorities about fraudulent activities involving unauthorized access to bank accounts. Therefore, I want to make it clear that I will not share the codes sent to my phone to prevent this technical issue from leading to any fraudulent transactions. If I cannot have a discount card from Carrefour due to this, so be it. My priority is security above all.
