CamScanner Free Trial Charged €54.99 Without Warning
I recently signed up for a three‑day free trial of CamScanner via the Apple App Store because I needed the service for a one‑time use only. The trial period ended without any warning or reminder, and on 17 April 2026 an amount of €54.99 was taken from my account for a yearly subscription that I did not intend to continue. I contacted support regarding this issue and requested a refund, explaining that I only wanted to use the free trial and that I had not received any clear warning that the trial was about to end and convert into a paid yearly subscription. Despite this, my refund request was refused. As a customer who did not knowingly agree to a paid yearly plan and who used the app only for the brief trial period, I find this unfair. I kindly request that the €54.99 charged on 17 April 2026 be fully refunded and that the subscription associated with my account be cancelled.
