Calm Charged Me After Skipping the Free Trial and Ignored My Refund Request

I registered for Calm, wanting to test their one-week free trial. They need credit card information to access it, hence I grudgingly sent it. grave error. I began having problems visiting the site as soon as I registered. It loaded incorrectly and I was unable to use any of the functions. Angry, I attempted calling assistance, but only saw a chat option—no phone number or email. I answered the same overused questions again and over as I worked through their chat system. Rather than fixing the problem, they debited my card and purposefully bypassed the trial time. They informed me the cancelation will only show effect next year when I requested a refund. I feel duped and avoid repeating the mistake of depending on this procedure.
