Busuu Charged Me Before My Free Trial Ended—I Want a Full Refund Immediately
I downloaded the Busuu app on April 1, 2025, and was informed that my free trial would end on April 8, 2025. However, to my surprise and frustration, the app charged my credit card on April 8—before the trial period had even officially ended that day.
I didn’t get a chance to cancel the subscription before being billed because the charge was made prematurely. This is completely unfair and misleading. If a trial is advertised to last until a specific date, the billing should happen after that day ends, not before.
I am requesting an immediate cancellation of this charge and a full refund. Busuu, your system charged me for a service I hadn’t agreed to continue using, and I expect you to make this right without delay.
