On October 28, 2025, at 6:56 PM, I placed an order from Burger King via GetirYemek, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered curly fries and ice cream, but regular fries were delivered instead, and the ice creams arrived completely melted — basically liquid. In addition, I had selected extra chocolate chips, but that request was completely ignored.
After the delivery, I contacted customer service multiple times. During my first call, I was asked to send photos, which I did — but then I was told, “They’re not opening, please send them by email,” and the call was cut off. I sent an email, and when I called again, I was told to “upload them through the app.” Each time, I was given a different excuse and no solution was provided. Meanwhile, the ice creams had melted completely and had to be thrown away.
Finally, I received a response saying, “We can’t issue a refund because you threw away the products.” But the products were already spoiled when they arrived, and while I was following their own instructions, time passed and they shifted the blame onto me.
I received the order in Ümraniye, Istanbul, and paid about 180 in total. This is the first time I’ve had such a poor experience, and I find the lack of responsibility and unhelpful attitude from such a large platform unacceptable. I demand an immediate refund and a formal investigation into the matter.
