Budget Refused to Refund Deposit With False Damage Claim Despite Video Proof
During my overseas trip in June, the deposit for the car we rented from Budget has still not been refunded to my bank. When I contacted customer service about the process, I was told I would receive a response within two weeks. However, more than a month has passed and there is still no solution. Today, we saw an email stating that the deposit was not refunded because we allegedly returned the car damaged. Out of caution, we had recorded videos both when picking up and returning the car, so it is impossible that there was any damage. It is clear that they resorted to this excuse because they could not handle the situation. What a shame—Budget is a complete disappointment. Better to rent from a roadside company than from here. Lies and deception, truly shameful.
