I Rented a Car from Budget in Montenegro and Still Haven’t Gotten My Deposit Back
I rented a car from Budget at the Montenegro Airport, and they blocked a deposit amount on my credit card at the time of rental. I was told this amount would be refunded to my account within 30 days. However, that promise was not kept — my money was not returned.
I reached out to customer service multiple times, and their response was completely unhelpful. I even sent an email, and after 11 days, they replied saying, “We’ll get back to you in 15 days.” That reply was over a week ago, and still no refund. It’s now been over 40 days, and I still don’t have my money back.
This level of negligence is absolutely unacceptable. A reputable company should not keep customers waiting this long for a basic refund, especially after making false commitments. I demand that Budget immediately process my refund and stop ignoring customers who are just asking for what they are owed. I will escalate this further if necessary.
