Budget Montenegro Has Not Refunded €360 Deposit After One Year Despite Contract
On September 11, 2024, I rented a car online from Budget, and during the rental process a deposit of €360.41 was charged. However, even after nearly a year, this deposit has not been refunded to me. I have contract number 137783505 related to the rental. I have contacted Budget customer service multiple times, but since the rental was in Montenegro, they only forwarded replies from the local office. Those replies contained no explanation other than “the customer signed and we collected,” without providing any reason why the deposit was not refunded. At no point was I given a valid justification. This was my first time renting a car, and it is extremely disappointing to encounter such an issue. I request the immediate refund of my deposit.
