I rented a car from Budget for eight days, and the experience was a complete disappointment. The first vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, was fine on the first day since I didn’t drive it. However, on the second day, I noticed a strange noise from the front left tire when turning the steering wheel. I immediately contacted customer service, and they agreed to change the vehicle.
When returning the Corolla, I was shocked to be told that there was a crack on the front right bumper, even though I hadn’t caused any damage. Since Budget did not properly inspect the car upon return, they now want to charge me for an issue I was not responsible for.
I was then given a Renault Megane, but this vehicle also had major issues. While driving to Kocaeli for a company event in a snowstorm, I discovered that the windshield wipers were faulty, leaving me unable to clear the windshield properly. On my way back, the tire burst, and I was left stranded on the road.
Budget provided me with multiple faulty cars without proper inspection and then attempted to charge me for pre-existing damage. This is completely unacceptable. I demand compensation for the stress and inconvenience I experienced due to their negligence.
